Tae Kwon Do Tournament April 27, 2009

On April 18th, 2009 our Tae Kwon Do students at the Spalding clubhouse competed in the 2nd annual state-wide tournament at Waipahu High School. Even though we had the smallest team, almost all of the participants came home with a medal. Tia Lewis and Sarah Garrido won bronze medals. Capturing silver medals were: Jenice & Daniel Lee, Grace & Candace Choe, Vincent Ooi, George Kim, and Theodore Brown. Chevas Pacheco won the gold medal after a spirited match against a green belt opponent.

Thank you for recognizing all who participated, it was a difficult day for each competitor but they hung in there and concord the day. I am so proud of each of them and look forward to more great accomplishments from them in the future.
